2 explosions at the Boston Marathon finish line: "I saw people’s legs blown off. Horrific.... Runners were coming in and saw unspeakable horror."

"Eyewitnesses at the scene said there were two loud explosions about five seconds apart, and emergency vehicles crowded the scene. Up to 60 people have been reported injured, dozens of them seriously."

The reason it happened on 9/11/01 was because of call volume, not because the system was "shut down".

Wrong. I think all rumor-mongering/ conspiracy theory propagation is stupid.

There are three possibilities, foreign terrorism, domestic terrorism or a nut. The date and timing is relevant but hardly definitive.

No seriously everyone, if this is terrorism, what about the Nork's?

I woke up this morning to the new's saying week they didn't launch a missile as we expected them to do TODAY so nothingburger.

I say, well of what are the Norks capable? It's still TODAY here in the US. I would say that even if their intercontinental missiles are a joke, they would still be capable of planting a conventional bomb or two if they wanted.

They don't even have to take credit for it. I'm sure there are plenty of backchannel ways for them to let us know they did it.

They've invested a lot of face in poking a finger in our eye, so why not this? Not saying they did this. But saying I'm surprised given the timing I've not seen the possibility seriously raised.

Where's our little buddy, shilol, telling us how Dubya, Darth, Rummy, and Condi were caught with their pants down on 9/11 after all that warning?

You mean four aircraft hijacked and 3000+ killed? A plot years in the making? Not to diminish this horrible attack but are you shitting me that you compare an obviously amateur bomb to that?

Which brings us back to both the Axis of Evil (note por favor the countries John Bolton added) and AQ. Anybody seriously think these cutthroats wouldn't co-operate in a shot at the Great Satan?

ARM: "Wrong. I think all rumor-mongering/ conspiracy theory propagation is stupid."

LOL

I guess you simply "forget" to criticize members of the leftwing media for doing that.

Has to be, seeing as how diligent you are in falsely accusing more conservative media of the same thing.

Even when the more conservative media is simply linking to the dinosaur media.

Feel free to point out some egregious rumor-mongering on the part of left wing media.

Don't worry. We won't hold our breath.

dcm, you obviously don't know the backstory here, so pipe down.

Besides, who says this isn't the beginning of the long-promised return by Al Qaeda with lots more casualties to come?

He's putting the full faith and credit of the United States, so to speak, to bringing the perps to justice. You can consider it a done deal. It will happen.

Wait ... late breaking news: President Obama also says:

"We will not waver in our commitment to see that justice is done for this terrible act. And make no mistake, justice will be done"

So there's really no doubt: he totally means it. You can count on it. It's in the bank.

What a cynical bunch some of you are. You can't even stop long enough to show some grief and solidarity with the stricken. If you got paid for pissing on the American people you couldn't do a better job of it.

Right, right, right.

Because after Gabby Giffords was shot, you totally took to the Internet to knock down those silly stories propagated by leftists that Jared Lee Loughner was inspired by Tea Party rhetoric.

Really. You did.

So cynicism about Obama is the equivalent to pissing on the American people.

How would we know for certain though that he did or didn't? "AReasonableMan, On Blogger since September 2011," seems like the kind of deceitful troll who changes his ID every couple of years when people recognize his predictabilty.

Yes.

Give one example of me being deceitful. I am predictable because I am rational, not driven by the kind of nutty spite that animates most of your posts.

And that is not a sophisticated attack.

What the hell does "sophistication" have to do with anything?

Unsophisticated IEDs wreaked havoc on US forces in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Unsophisticated Molotov Cocktails can take out tanks in the right hands.

Shrapnel loaded pipe bombs may not be "sophisticated" in your view, but if you just put the emphasis on the word "bomb," you might get a little understanding as to why you sound like a total moron.

Those unsophisticated devices in Boston shredded flesh and shattered bone. They killed and maimed. Terrorism isn't rocket science.

No spite there. I mean it isn't like Bush hasn't been Gov of TX for 13 years or anything.

No spite at all.

As with all leftists, the dipshit posts are all projection.

How do you know that it wasn't purposely designed to appear unsophisticated by an individual or group that is capable of much greater sophistication?

It's you who are appearing amateur by buying in prematurely to the way things simply "appear".
